Thanksgiving Eight Games For Teaching Teen Numbers

This activity packet contains math games for teaching those tricky teen numbers. Kindergarten and first grade students develop number sense and a foundation for place value while using this activity in math centers or small group instruction. This resource is Common Core aligned.

This resource includes:

☀5 different sets of cards for matching games

☀ 8 sets of number cards to put in order 11 – 20

☀2 different sets of ten frame mats for students to use with manipulatives.

The 5 matching games are color coded and include matching the numbers 11 – 20 to the following representations of number

☀ten frames

☀expanded notation

☀dice

☀tally marks

☀tens blocks.

Ten Frame Mats

☀One set of ten frame mats has dot cues for students who are still working on one to one

correspondence.

☀The other set of ten frame mats has blank ten frames. Both sets may be used with any manipulatives

that will fit within a one inch square.

To prepare the materials simply print, cut out, and laminate for durability

Materials can be used for years to come.

**Printing instructions. From the Adobe Download, select print. Under Paper Sizing & Handling. Select the Fit radio button. Click Print.**
